Education
There are five primary schools, two comprehensive schools and two upper comprehensive schools in Kauhava. Primary schools offer also morning and afternoon care for smaller children.
There are also two high schools, Kauhavan lukio and Härmän lukio.
Comprehensive school and high school got a brand new building called Kauhavan Monitoimitalo at 2020.
Järvilakeuden kansalaisopisto is an adult education centre that offers various educational- and culturalservices.
Härmänmaan musiikkiopisto is education centre that concentrates on musical arts.
